This french countryside table was designed and built specifically for my mom. Her name is Rebbeca Anne, and my daughter for whom the table is named, is of course, Anne. The 9' by 42" table features old growth white oak, with ultra wide planks, solid heart wood, and a nearly 2” thick top. Elegant hand turned legs form two pedestal style bases, connected by a thick stretcher full of character. The proportion of top boards to table base is balanced and the strong overhang pairs beautifully with the clean trestle underneath. Effortlessly elegant, strong, and beautiful, just like those to whom the namesake belongs.
