Micah is my oldest daughter, she’s fierce, independent, blonde and stylish! I built this original design as a modern version of the traditional farmhouse trestle. With a heavier base, gentle angles, and reverse angled supporting pieces, the base really becomes something totally fresh. Add a 9’ by 42” top with generous overhang, and the Micah Table becomes a real feature statement in any home. I built this table with wide planks of white oak, and centered the top around an interesting curled heartwood plank that is deeper brown in color and movement. With the darker pegs holding fast the breadboards, the darker accents really make this table special.
